In the past week our staff and leaders went to Indonesia to attend strategic camp. We also visited the local church there. Through experience their service and learning, through meeting and prayer we pursue the will of God together to affirm the church’s future direction.
Rebuild family altar.
We believe that family system is a wonderful design created by God for us to extend to the next generation so that we can multiply. A healthy family that fears God has great influential power to accomplish the will of God. Recently our church has a few testimonies about raising family meeting, allowing God’s and Holy Spirit to enter into family. Relationship between family members were reconciled, even affected the neighborhood. Church is no longer limited to the building; it can be at your home and my home!
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.(Acts 2:46-47)
Rebuild children’s simple heart and hunger for God
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”(Matthew 19:14)
We saw that the children in the Indonesia church experience Holy Spirit when they are young. They have a pure heart to worship God and even pray for people so that they can experience God’s love, healing and deliverance. We deeply believe godly parents can raise a godly next generation. Therefore, parents, youth and children’s ministries cannot be separated. May God give us wisdom and also protect our pure heart to raise up the new generation that can fight for God!
May our worship build a throne for God
In the prayer tower in Indonesia, we can easily experience a strong presence of God and the filling of the Holy Spirit. Simple melody and sound of worshippers, everyone concentrated on the glory of God. In Hong Kong, devil steal our time consecrated to God through work, financial pressure and enjoying our lives. To raise a worship leader who has a vital life and good music skill is a project full of challenge. But we believe it is the will of God. In the presence of Holy Spirit we worship, we are renewed. Our work, ministry and human relationship becomes better and easier. We must continue this great spiritual project.
“In that day “I will restore David’s fallen shelter— I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be (Amos 9:11)
Continue to promote disciple making movement
In Jesus’s three years ministry, apart from healing the sick and cast out the devil, and being nailed on the cross to complete salvation, Jesus was always with the disciples. He told them about the kingdom, nurtured them and sent them to spread the good news. “Go and make disciples of all nations” is a very clear and concrete command. Being a true follower of God we must carry. If we are willing to do, we will be blessed! I remember there is a passionate God’s servant said with humor, “I am not evangelical, and I'm not a spiritual. I belong to being sent!”
Dear brothers and sisters, in our future days on the earth, let us be united and be led by one spirit to be sent by God to become a good and faithful servant. Fight a good fight for God!
