Next Sunday October 1 is China’s National Day. Apart from this, it is also Hong Kong Day of Prayer. It is the day that the whole Hong Kong united in prayer. Maybe people will ask why we have to take part in united prayer? What is the purpose of united prayer?
1. Hong Kong Day of Prayer is a huge altar
“ The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” (1 King 3:4-5)
It is a huge altar, there were many sacrifices—one thousand burnt offerings. In today’s language, it is many committed intercessors. That night God appeared to Solomon. So God will quickly answer people’s prayer and appeared to them. His answer was “ask for whatever you want me to give you” That means God will answer all our request. From this we see this is the effect of huge altar experienced by Solomon. I expect, after October 1 Hong Kong Day of Prayer, God’s response will come quickly. His promise will be fulfilled, and Hong Kong will enter into blessings of God’s destiny.
2. Hong Kong Day of Prayer is a spiritual warfare
This prayer day includes prayers at land, air and sea. Every district in Hong Kong is included. God uses people--to let them have authority to fulfil God’s will on the earth. Prayer Day is to raise our holy hands, take back Hong Kong this piece of land as spiritual authority. To cast out the devil so that Hong Kong people will be delivered and loosened from bondage. So that Hong Kong will enter into greater revival and harvest.
3. Hong Kong Day of Prayer will release great blessings
“‘Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.” (Exodus 20:24)God commanded Moses to build an altar, the goal is to lead to God’s presence and blessings. After Israelites left Egypt, God taught them to build tent and altar in the middle of the twelve tribes. The result was that for forty years, 2 million Israelites have food, water, meat. The clothes and shoes were not broken. In day time, there was central air-conditioning—cloud pillar. At night there were central heating system—fire pillar. The presence of God was great and there was God’s protection.
Therefore, in Jesus’ name I declare that after October 1 prayer day, Hong Kong will not be the same. Apart from provision, God’s presence and protection will be here. Everybody lives well, many more people will be saved! Amen!
