I have shared with you about the purpose and power of a big altar. Solomon offered a thousand sacrifice—one thousand cows and sheep. It is an expensive offering. As a result that night God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” (1 Kings 3:5) Solomon asked for wisdom instead (1 Kings 3:9). But apart from wisdom that there will never have been anyone like him, nor will there ever be (1 Kings 3:12), God also gave him both wealth and honor—so that in his lifetime he will have no equal among kings (1 Kings 3:13).
Apart from loving God, Solomon offered big sacrifice, therefore God was pleased. In the same way, when churches and believers in Hong Kong offered big sacrifice at Noah’s Ark, God was pleased with his people. He will give them many things, more than what Hong Kong churches ask and think.
In this week I experienced that God opened bigger door for his people. Mrs. Linda Ma was the promoter of Whole World Prayer Day. In the first year she has supported our Hong Kong Day of Prayer and participated the whole day. Last year she has not participated. This year when she received our October 1 Hong Kong Day of Prayer’s video report, she was touched and invited Rev. Maggie and I for lunch. At last she made a big offering. Not only that, she is willing to participate and support with money next year. Hallelujah! Through her, two days ago we received big offering from businessmen called by her. God is miraculous.
On the other hand, I have had a meeting with Jubilee Ministries on Wednesday. I was invited to write a layout plan of Hong Kong Prayer Tower. So this makes me have a part in this ministry in the future, set up a higher level prayer tower to pray for Hong Kong and cover Hong Kong. Hallelujah!
Dear Sunrise brothers and sisters, I believe God will remember your effort in October 1 Hong Kong Day of Prayer. He will reward you according to your hard work. Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you (Matthew 6:6).
Therefore, next year we have to build an even bigger altar, let that day become a prayer day for each year. Let people all observe this holy day and set themselves apart to be used by God on this day.
