Flag Selling and Blessing

Behold, the 17th of August 2024 was the second year of the Flag Selling Day at Sunrise . This year, the number of participants was smaller than last year, not a great multitude this year. No, it is not.

Last year's weather was hot and this year it was raining heavily. Nevertheless, despite the strange weather, we go forth, to the Flag Day to seize a chance to reach out to people and proclaim blessing to them. This is followed by the sale of the gold flags to keep us going.  The Lord is well-pleased!. We have given diligence to make our calling sure, haven’t we . We can raise funds from relatives and friends.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I [am] the LORD your God. (Leviticus 23:22)

God teaches us to consider the cause of the poor and the sojourners, the rights of the afflicted , who are the underprivileged in society, in sore despair. Take heed, In addition to praying for them and helping them in practical ways, may the Lord send us unto them. We need to give them opportunities to share in the fruit. Let us commit our works unto the LORD, and our thoughts shall be established.

Now that we are not doing much, we pray that God will open the way for us to bless them more abundantly. May our ground bring forth plentifully. Yes, May the Lord guide us handle the matter wisely for the wise in heart shall be called prudent.

With ardent desires, we long to bear witness how the afflicted, the poor, the oppressed be arrayed in robes of royalty by our everlasting Father, who long to show compassion for His people. It is His good pleasure to accomplish this by His holy zeal.

Making mention on the goodness of our Lord, it releases our tongues, and our lips unceasingly give thanks to our heavenly Father for His loving kindness.  Our hearts overflow with joy at sweet meditation of Jesus Himself who poured out His life at the cross for all. Amen
