Recently, I have been reading Jeremiah 29. God has been speaking gracefully and I would like to share with you.
“This is what the Lord says: ‘When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.’” (Jeremiah 29:10)
The Israelites were exiled for 70 years . God had mercy on them and they returned home. To us, this was new beginning. One that marked a new beginning of God’s care for us.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
We are in the end times. Disasters come one after the other, including sword(war), earthquakes, famine and pandemic(ongoing). However, God has “peaceful” thoughts for His people. No matter how bad it getsa, God’s thoughts for us are good and His people have hope in end times. We are so blessed! Amen!
“…. I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” (Jeremiah 29:12)
This is God’s promise to us. Therefore, we should trust and rely on Him. He will surly answer His children. In the face of challenges and threats, we need to remember God’s promises because He is a God of peace and He is a God who listens to prayers. Therefore, we have full of hope as we are a group of blessed and protected people. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
