Keep a Grateful Heart

Bible Genesis 6: 8-9 “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.”

There is reason for Noah found favor, he walks with God, God absolutely knows what a man he is, God makes covenant with him, when He makes the flood on the earth, the lives of Noah family were saved in the Ark. Noah obeyed God's instructions to do the ark, and he did whatever he was told by God. Genesis 7:1 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.”

It made no sense to make a great ark on the dry land for anyone whose all thought were evil at that time. The project is very huge, really not easy, need to endeavor to the end.

Think that we are also found favor because of Jesus Christ crucified on the cross to achieve salvation, it is totally different as compared to Noah found favor. We are sinners, but were found favor to be saved first, learn righteousness, be merciful, with humble heart, walk with God, and learn to be like Jesus. Don't we be more grateful to God since we found favor in God? Be a disciple of Jesus, faithful to serve Lord, and submit to God’s words.

Brothers and sisters, have you ever wanted to find excuses for yourself to stop ministering? Once, I remember that when I knew there was only one person can attend the group fellowship, I really want to take this opportunity to cancel leading the group fellowship, so that I can take a rest. When this idea appears in the mind within a few seconds, there seems to be some strength in front of myself, it turned out that God is looking forward to walking with us, I dare not struggle anymore, but to cherish more the opportunity to train people, whether one to one, my heart was changed, and keep a grateful heart, to obey and walk. Imagine, Noah moves wood every day, the same day by day, it is easy to give up through the excuses, insist needs to be paid by strength.

Ephesians 4:1 "... as a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” Quiet thought, how valuable is find favor to have salvation, let us serve our God who love us with infinite gratitude, and achieve his good will on the earth. Amen!
