Shalom ! We have found favor in the Lord and the blessings are abundant! Although we will face difficulties and challenges, our God promises to be with those who belong to and love Him and this is so wonderful! It is true that each of us will have different roles and positions in life. At the same time, we will encounter difficulties because of these identities. Joseph faced family relationships, victimization, and injustice. However, the Bible records that "the Lord was with him", which made everything go smoothly for him while he was a slave. People saw his difference and his status was improved.
In Genesis 39:2-6 NIV says”The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.” There were greater challenges, but God gave him great flip.
Brothers and sisters, this reminds us that God is the God of transformation. He turned adversity into blessing and restored Joseph's life. Being close to God not only helps us know the Lord better, but also brings us wisdom and strength. We encourage everyone to pray more in life so that we can experience God’s wonderful deeds more deeply and even experience greater transformation.
