Thanked the Lord for His abundant mercy! Looking back on the year 2024, we all marvel how the Lord leads us and by His grace we went forth and visited many places in China for His mission. Our heart overflow with blessings and intercession for our motherland.
Starting from Shunde in the Greater Bay Area in mid-January, Guangzhou in February, Taishan in Shandong in March, worship on the Chosen Four in Hong Kong-Singapore in May, Mount Hua in Xi'an in June, Tibet in September, Shanghai in November, and Xuzhou in December, and cannot cease giving thanks, for the wonderful encounter with God in this part of China, and we are stepping into 2025! In mid-January, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, the Lord led the first trip of the year, a very memorable and heart -moving trip. We took sweet counsel together in the Lord.
Certainly, I am affectionately desirous of setting foot in Futian, Fujian Province, the hometown of Dr. Sung Sheung-chieh, our great beloved spiritual man in whom our soul delight , and a church revivalist of the Chinese people in Asia. And set forth our journey. A man of God, a royal priesthood, who obey the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren with a pure heart fervently.
We took a high-speed train for nearly five hours. Thank God for having begotten us the lively hope in Him. What an inheritance incorruptible, that faded not away..
We rejoice with joy unspeakable. One of the most profound parts of the diary is that when he was on a boat traveling from Seattle to Shanghai, he saw his countrymen smoking cigarettes and gambling, and heard a foreigner criticize the Chinese, saying, "Chinese people are worse than dogs! He couldn't help but run back to his room and prayed in tears, "God! Please save my countrymen. His tears indeed in the Lord's bottle. The Lord has put it in His remembrance. Immediately afterward, he threw all his medals, awards, and keys he had earned while studying in the United States into the Pacific Ocean and resolved to die preaching in China. He called the Chinese people out of darkness into His marvelous light by the power of the Holy Spirit.
His passion for evangelism, preaching the truth, calling people to repent of their sins and accept Christ, performing miracles and wonders with the power of the Holy Spirit, organizing evangelistic meetings in various provinces of China, and harvesting for the Lord like a whirlwind, he poured out his life unto Christ, his life was like a grain of wheat being broken and used by the Lord, and to this day, it has been bringing much fruit to the entire Chinese church, including the Chinese churches in Southeast Asia. Our group of four sisters finally arrived in Futian after a five-hour ride. The Futian family warmly received us and took us to visit some of the places where Dr. Sung had served in Futian, one of which is located on the Tianma Mountain in Futian, a mountain where Dr. Sung used to go to pray and train young people for Bible studies. Dr. Sung's family said that this place was the house where Dr. Sung often came to teach.
When we set our feet on Pegasus Mountain, we felt excitement from the Lord and holy vibration in our hearts, and we could only see in our souls the sight of many people worshipping and reading the Bible and praying for the restoration of the past in this place, and we prayed and worshipped together on the mountain, and we all experienced the Lord's fullness on the mountain, and we saw a vision and believed that the mountain would be restored by the Lord to become the mountain of prayer. Dr. Sung's church (Tien Tao Church) has over 120 years of history. When I walked in and visited the church, I was moved and went up to the pulpit to pray and bless the place, and the Spirit of God was with me greatly, and the fire of revival was burning inside me, hoping to go back to Hong Kong to continue to burn, and knowing that God is the God who was in the past, and is now in the present, and will always be in the future, I believe that the Lord's revival of so much of Dr. Sung's life will continue to be kindled and happen today, and the Chinese people will go to Hong Kong to pray. We believe that this year, Hong Kong and Asia will definitely enter into a great revival and harvest, and see the Lord's hand, by His zeal He will accomplish His work.
We encourage our brothers and sisters to prepare themselves, equip themselves to learn more, to follow Christ's example, to be led by the Lord's authority in their lives, to be of one heart and one mind in building God's house, to love each other, and to be effective in everything, so that those who love God will be benefited, and to enter into the new year with blessings for the revival and transformation of families, become fishers of men and to bear much fruit! Fruitfulness!
"The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and temperance. There is no law against such things. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." (Galatians 5:24-25)
